A missing girl from Colorado was reported missing Thursday after she did not return after school. However, on Friday she was able to escape her kidnapper and call 911 from a local convenience store.

The person who they think kidnapped her is 29 years old and was already under suspicion for molestation another young girl. While the man was in the process of transporting the girl to another location his car just so happened to break down and someone gave them a lift to a nearby Circle K. When they arrived there the girl ran inside and told the cashier that she needed to call her uncle yet instead she phoned 911.

When she ran in the store is was apparent that she had been abused. Then, when the kidnapper came inside and asked her to leave with him she told him she was not going anywhere with him she was waiting on her mom and he immediately fled the scene.

Her kidnapper was caught when he was trying to escape on a bus the very same day. Currently, he is still being held and the little girl is receiving medical treatment from one of the local hospitals. Her condition, however, cannot be released due to her age.  Currently, they do not know what the connection was between the kidnapper and the girl if any yet they do know that he was the step father to the previous girl he attacked.

After reading this story I just had to share. I was amazed and grateful that the little girl was able to get away yet disappointed at the cashier seeing her in the condition she was and not showing any concern at all.
